It's that time again.  This is what I have seen that's been going on in the Pixel Art community.  First I want to start with a couple questions, then I'll go into contests, groups, etc.

Questions for the Community
What do you want to see happen in the pixel art community?  Are there any changes that you think the category needs (aside from dealing with miscats, that is already more than noted)?

I think what I want to see in the pixel art community is more "unity" itself. I think there are some communities small enough to be more "tight" as a group or closer.

I think we need to feature Pixel Chat nights or something, perhaps even in Pixels-Unlimited or whatever to get to know pixel artists and have some sort of actual "community" sense. Perhaps it's because I'm new but I know varied pixel artists who aren't really close to each other I suppose! But it may be a good start.

I also agree with Vala, pixel art is accessible to anybody who has a computer, use MS Paint and viola! It would be good to promote and take away some of the fear when it comes to trying it. :XD:
