I can't get into too much detail with this family (don't want to give away some of the stuff in M.E. quite yet), but they are another dysfunctional bunch, but they care about each other.  Movrin is Zanarkin's and Merideth's mother (Zan and Myrrh are twins), but they live with their father Asura, and their Aunt Kavardrana.  Kit's characters Damien, Shiva and Rakushin are their half-siblings.  Christabell was adopted into the family when her parents were killed by her brother Aten.

Nal'lite Family (M.E.)
Not much is known about this family, other than that the two siblings travel together a lot.  Dorian is older than Nimora by about 3 or 4 years.  They take care of each other, but also can annoy each other as well.  Dorian is over protective of his sister, and hates her boyfriend XD  Lyric becomes Nimora's dorm mate in college, and the two become instant friends.  As Lyric was a foster child with little connection to her foster family, the Nal'Lites quickly adopt her.

-Roy: A wandering vampire who is about 300 years old.  He was made in Quebec when he was 21, and has been wandering since his maker's death.  He fears being killed by the Marquise.  He decides to watch over the Devore-Jones family when he suspects that they are not human.

-Artemis Blaze:  He goes by his last name since he hates his first name; Artemis was a Greek goddess after all. Parents died when he was only a few months old.  Having no living relatives, he lived in an orphanage most of his life.  Grew up in the same area as the Devore-Jones family.  Is afraid that he is bad luck since everyone who adopts him vanishes or dies.

-Keesha: Was born in the states but her family moved to Canada when her mother was offered a job running a dance studio.  Is very fashionable and loves socializing.  Keesha is also a bit of a flirt.  She'll do anything for her friends.

(last name, first) (Nana does not bear any resemblance to the shred of information that is known about her historical counter-part.  I know next to nothing about Misaki and Kitako.  I have used what minimal info I have to shape Kitako's personality though.  Chiyome is based on the folklore and minimal history that I have found about her, detailing her as the first kunoichi.  Kojima Yataro, Mochizuki Rokuro and Mochizuki Uemon are all also based off of the minimal amounts of folklore associated with them.  Tsuge and Junko are entirely fictional (Although I did find a plausible last name for Junko).  Rui is also fictional.)
