Early Morning

Messed around in Gimp to colour the 19th prompt in the 30 Day Fire Emblem Meme.  Favourite character's ending, paired or not: Lucia and her on going affairs with Bastian  

Despite both being responsible characters, I see her as the earlier riser of the two.  And this is honestly the only way I could think of to depict this properly.  Leaving before he wakes, before anyone else is theoretically likely to drop in unannounced (or before Bastian is awake enough to launch into another poem ).  I think the reason they never married is because Lucia is the head of a minor noble house and she may have had to relinquish her title to Bastian, a Count if they had married.  And since he loves her as she is, I think he would not want to make less of her by doing that. 

Had fun working on this, although not fond of her hair.  Also took forever to get sleeping Bastian right XD  Lots of good practice shading folds in this one
