Relationships
Motochika: Nana at times appears to have no further goal in life than to drive her husband crazy, but despite that, she loves him to death and would not willingly leave his side.  They tend to play argue and challenge one another and have a 'tough love' sort of relationship.  Neither is afraid to be blunt with the other, giving them one of the most honest, if irritating relationships.  Enjoys calling Motochika Himewakako (little princess) to annoy him, since she thinks he's most attractive when angry.

Nohime: Nana is extremely wary of her cousin and does not trust her in the least.  Both believe they are better/more beautiful/more deadly than the other and have no problems making biting comments at each other.

Keiji: Nana enjoys his company and always asks for news outside of Shikoku when he visits.  The two are comfortable making jokes with each other, and tease each other about how bad their cooking is.

Megohime: Nana's first real female friend.  Nana loves her to pieces and enjoys gossiping with her.  Both women think that their husband is better and they love coming up with odd reasons/ways to prove this.  She has a lot of respect for Meg and they keep in touch via letters when the Date and Chosokabe part ways after their temporary alliance.

Myokyu: Nana often wondered how an honourable, intelligent woman like Myokyu got stuck with Motonari, but she thinks she'll never find out.  The two are as likely to snip at each other as they are to get along with one another.  Nana doesn't like to admit it, but she envies Myokyu's composure and grace.

Personality
Personality description:
Nana is an outgoing and to the point person.  She tries to think ahead and think on her feet but can't always see the forest for the trees, so to speak.  She enjoys working alongside Motochika and his men, and always feels the need to pull her weight.  She has no problems gutting fish or getting dirty.  She will fight alongside her husband at any given chance and hates being left behind.  She's also a jewellery snob, which means that when she gets jewellery, it has to be real gold or silver, with real gems and be visually appealing.  She enjoys socializing and wishes that she had more female friends.  Nana has let her good manners slide since marrying Motochika and no longer presents herself in a 'lady-like fashion' in front of other lords and ladies.

Strengths: She's direct, she's quick on her feet and she knows how to use her both her wits and her body to gain information.  She's loyal to Motochika and willing to help him and his crew in any way possible.  She likes contributing to any effort the crew is making because she doesn't want to be a useless pair of hands.

Flaws: Nana can be slightly vain and enjoys attention a little too much.  She isn't the most subtle person in the world and often makes crude jokes with the other men.  She has no problems flirting with men or women and doesn't see the harm in it, which can land her in trouble.  She can be overconfident and get in over her head.

Fears: Losing Motochika, being alone.
